Bagnall (pictured) was most recently head of innovation at Basis Research and before that was at 2CV for many years, including six as managing director.

He has been brought in to Cambridge MR to develop new approaches and applied technologies to refresh the way it carries out consumer research for clients.

Bagnall said: “My focus will be on an evolution of the business, adding even more value to our clients, from the methodologies we deploy through to building valuable decision-making tools. This isn’t about wholesale change, it’s about taking advantage of the changing ways in which we can learn about and understand people and the choices they make.”

Beresford added: “Mark joins at a pivotal time for our company as we strive to leverage this rich source of insight to inform and guide all aspects of the product experience using the very latest data science expertise.”
