Bader named chief strategy officer at Initiative

US— Media agency Initiative has created a new position of global chief strategy officer and hired former MediaVest digital director Eric Bader to fill it.

Bader will be based in New York, reporting to Initiative CEO Richard Beaven, and will be responsible for driving strategy, planning and insight across the business.

He takes up the post after two and a half years at mobile advertising and marketing consultancy Brand In Hand.

At Initiative he is expected to work closely with former New York Times head of insight Jeffrey Graham, who joined the agency last year as worldwide head of performance measurement and monitoring.
