North America People

US — Customer feedback firm Allegiance has hired former Symantec SVP and CMO Carine Clark as its new president and CEO, effective immediately. She is joined by Novell’s Dana Russell, who becomes chief financial officer.

Clark (pictured) replaces Allegiance’s founder, Adam Edmunds. He will remain actively involved as a member of the board of directors and will lead the company’s expanding partner and business development initiatives.

In a statement, the company says the new leadership will aim to help Allegiance “become a game changer and drive the trend toward customer empowerment with technology that helps companies achieve greater customer experience insight.”

In 2011, the firm secured $12m in a round of funding led by El Dorado Ventures.
