DENMARK – WPP’s digital brand business AKQA has acquired a majority stake in Danish digital agency, Dis/play for an undisclosed amount.
Dis/play offers strategy, user experience, design and technical skills to its clients which include Amnesty International, Ecco and Vestas. It employs more than 100 people in Copenhagen and Aarhus.
Dis/play made revenue of DKK105 million, with gross assets of DKK49m, to the year ended 31 December 2016.
The purchase is in line with WPP’s strategy to build its digital marketing strength and to extend AKQA’s European presence.
