Affinity Solutions hires former Nielsen EVP

US – Consumer purchasing data platform Affinity Solutions has appointed Damian Garbaccio as its first chief business and marketing officer.

Garbaccio (pictured) was previously executive in residence at Verisk Financial and executive vice-president at Nielsen.

In his new role, Garbaccio will lead plans to increase adoption of and innovation around the company’s consumer purchase data for use in media planning, buying and optimisation.

Mike Shehan, former chief executive and co-founder at SpotX and current managing partner of Roster Capital, has also been named to Affinity Solution’s advisory board.

Affinity Solutions is a consumer purchase data platform that provides purchase insights and media measurement through real-time consumer purchase data.
