UK— Focus group video streaming company ActiveGroup is set to make a concerted push for dominance in the European market with the appointment of Dan Foreman as head of international business development.
Foreman joins the US-headquartered firm from online research agency Opinium, where he held a strategic development role until recently. Before that, though, he oversaw the European expansion of FocusVision – a rival to ActiveGroup.
Speaking to Research, Foreman said ActiveGroup had been biding its time to “aggressively enter into Europe”. The company already has a team established in London and one in Beijing serving the Asia Pacific region.
“I will be leading the London and Beijing regional HQs,” Foreman explained. “At the same time we will be building a stronger team to build on the opportunities already in place. We have an enviable client list of the world’s best companies; we aim to add more bluechips and concurrently get more closely involved with them – throughout their business and with their insight suppliers.”
