US – Tech-enabled behavioural health care company AbleTo has hired Maria Ferrera as senior vice-president of data and analytics.
Ferrera will lead the team data and analytics team giving the information to identify, engage, and optimise treatment of patients who would most benefit from behavioural healthcare.
She was most recently vice-president of analytic consulting and data science at Blue Health Intelligence (BHI) where she led a team of data scientists, data analysts, biostatisticians and epidemiologists. She has also worked at Anthem, Towers Perrin Watson (now Willis Towers Watson) and AON Hewitt.
Dan Lieber, AbleTo’s president and chief operating officer, said: "Maria has a rich background in using data analytics to improve healthcare management that improves outcomes and lower cost. She has tremendous experience strategically applying predictive analytics and machine learning to drive better decision making."
