360insights acquires Ohana

CANADA – Channel marketing insights company 360insights has acquired promotional marketing specialist The Ohana Companies.

Based in Wilmington, Delaware, Ohana focuses on consumer rebates – a type of sales promotion.

The company’s technology and offering will become part of 360insights’ software-as-a-service (SaaS) Channel Success Platform, which is used by brands to manage their channel incentives investment.

Jason Atkins, founder and chief executive of 360insights, said: "Integrating Ohana’s practices and tribal knowledge into our platform and practices will further strengthen our offering as we continue to add features and functionality to our technology."

Eric Rubino, chief executive, Ohana, said: "Since 2007, Ohana has innovated the rebates process with technology advancements and a customer-focused approach. 360insights realised the value of our capabilities and we’re thrilled to integrate them with 360’s award-winning platform."

The terms of the deal were not disclosed. It is the fourth acquisition for 360insights in the past 12 months. 

Atkins added: "360insights will continue to acquire new companies to maintain our momentum."
