2025 young researcher of the year – supplier: Jerryanne Hagan-Tetteh & Neve Savage

Jerryanne Hagan-Tetteh, ClearView Research
Hagan-Tetteh joined ClearView Research aged 21, a week after graduating, stepping into the field with no prior research experience. Three years later, she is a senior researcher, leading national and international projects that focus on lived experience and amplifying seldom-heard voices.
Her work has included co-creating a video series, Beyond the Data, where participants shared their healthcare experiences on camera as part of a project on trust and discrimination in healthcare. She also introduced ClearView’s In These Streetz series. These videos are shared on the agency’s social media and have broadened how it engages with the public.
Hagan-Tetteh has also led focus groups across the UK exploring work and health inequalities, including during the Sunderland riots and a time of heightened anti-immigration tensions, and has presented research at the House of Lords.
Jerryanne Hagan-Tetteh said: “As someone still early in their career, this recognition is both surreal and deeply encouraging. I’m thankful for the team at ClearView who have pushed me to grow and supported me every step of the way. A massive thank you to the Market Research Society for recognising my work with this award.”
Neve Savage, Savanta
Savage pursued a career in market research after learning about it during her psychology degree.
Her work includes research for Pandora, Asos and TikTok, and has involved managing international projects, including fieldwork in Copenhagen.
She has completed Mental Health First Aider training and now chairs Savanta’s health and wellbeing committee and hosts monthly mental health inductions for new employees.
Recently elected as a leader for MRS&More, she aims to foster inclusive environments for young researchers and promote diversity across the industry.
Neve Savage said: “Winning was such a surreal feeling – it’s still sinking in now! It was such an incredible list of people on the shortlist, so it was a bit of a shock, but definitely felt amazing to win alongside Jerryanne. I think it shows me that being passionate about the industry, about people in general, is really key. I think it pays off to just be yourself, and I’d encourage all young researchers to do that – speak your mind and ask for the things you want. To the leaders, I’d encourage you to advocate for that. Let young researchers be bold!”
