WGSN launches fashion retail analytics and group identity

US — WSGN has launched an online analytics system for the fashion retail industry and brought together its trends, intelligence and retail services under one group.

WGSN INstock aims to provide fashion retailers with critical market intelligence to inform business-critical buying and merchandising decisions and is part of a £10m investment, which sees the formation of WGSN Group – encompassing the WGSN, Planet Retail, Homebuildlife and WGSN INstock brands.

The company said the group branding reflected its commitment to “leading the evolution of trend forecasting, intelligence and analytics”.

CEO of WGSN and Planet Retail Julie Harris said: “Being part of a successful, growing group that bring in-market information and future intelligence to the biggest and most influential commercial organisations in the world has enabled WGSN Group to invest in excess of £10m over the past 18 months in – among other things – new technology, new services, infrastructure, talent & training.”
