$750k for mobile analytics platform Keen

US— Mobile analytics startup Keen has secured $750,000 in a series A round of funding from investors including 500 Startups, Data Collective, SK Ventures and Cloud Power Fund.

CEO Kyle Wild (pictured), previously of Google Analytics, said that the company deliberately raised less than it could have done from the investors.

His firm’s technology allows the user to pick what they monitor, such as a particular behaviour or keystroke, before it is collected and delivered back to them via a customised dashboard.

Wild said of the Keen technology: “The trouble with analytics is that you’re constantly studying what someone else thinks you want to study.”
