Majestic MRSS launches in Indonesia

INDONESIA— Full service research agency Majestic MRSS has opened a new office in Jakarta and hired Teju Harjono as executive director of operations.

Harjono, who was previously at one of the country’s largest FMCG companies, said: “I am thrilled to be associated with a brand like Majestic MRSS… I hope to catalyse the growth of the Indonesian operations and work closely with my colleagues in other offices across the region.”

The new office employs 20 members of staff and is fitted with a qualitative viewing facility with a one-way mirror to allow researchers to observe focus group discussions.

Raj Sharma (pictured), the co-founder and president of Majestic MRSS, said: “Indonesia’s ethnically, linguistically and religiously diverse consumer base proves challenging to most marketers, which is where Majestic MRSS intends to make a difference.”

The firm already has offices in Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. It is headquartered in India.
