US— Indian media group Zee Entertainment Enterprises has signed up to Nielsen’s US audience figures for its Hindi language channel Zee TV.
The firm said the deal makes it the first South Asian TV network to be rated by Nielsen, which will count audience figures in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Washington DC and Philadelphia.
Zee Entertainment Enterprises COO Bharat Ranga said: “Nielsen’s ratings will enable us to deliver exceptional programming to the millions of South Asians who tune into Zee TV every day. It will also provide advertisers with deeper insight into audience behaviour and TV trends.”
