US— YouGov has launched its Omnibus service in the US, and moved Ray Martin, SVP and international head of Omnibus, to the company’s New York office to lead the service in the country.
Martin (pictured) has been the “driving force” behind the Omnibus service in the UK and Europe, and will now oversee the US version, which will draw on a sample of 1.3 million respondents in the country.
YouGov CEO and founder Stephan Shakespeare said: “Over the past decade YouGov has transformed the role of public opinion in the British media. Bringing the YouGov omnibus to America can do the same here. Accurate, fast, fair opinion research plays a vital part in democracy and in business.”
