WPP acquires shopper agency Lunchbox

US— WPP ad agency subsidiary JWT has acquired the assets of Los Angeles-based shopper engagement and analytics agency Lunchbox.

Founded in 2005, Lunchbox works with retail clients to create custom communications that influence shoppers in making purchase decision at the point of sale. A team of analysts is also on hand to measure clients’ marketing ROI and strengthen customer acquisition, brand engagement, conversion and long-term retention

The firm has offices in LA, Chicago, Bentonville and San Francisco and counts brands including Unilever, Walmart and Kimberly-Clark among its clients.

Last year the firm reported unaudited revenue of $21m and had $10m of gross assets.
