WPP acquires DTI Digital
The acquisition will expand WPP’s presence in the experience, commerce and technology markets, and also complement WPP’s existing adtech and systems integrations capabilities.
In turn, DTI Digital will benefit from WPP’s global network and relationships with its partners and clients. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
DTI Digital was founded in 2009 in Belo Horizonte and has 800 employees. It focuses on helping organisations become more efficient, either through developing back office support systems, such as supply automation and data collection software, or consumer-facing applications, such as e-commerce marketplaces.
Mark Read, chief executive of WPP, said: “Our clients are looking for fully integrated solutions that combine creativity with cutting-edge technology to help them adapt and respond to the rapidly shifting business environment.
“I am delighted to welcome DTI Digital to WPP and look forward to working together to deliver transformative results for our clients.”
