Workstreamer scores $3.5m investment for business listening platform

US— Workstreamer, a business listening platform, has secured $3.5m in private equity investment from Austin Partners in a Series A round of funding.

The firm, which specialises in monitoring internet news articles, social media sites and blogs to find relevant mentions of a brand or company, said the money would be used to accelerate growth, generate sales and meet increasing customer demand.

Hank Weghorst, the firm’s founder and CEO, said: “Having received rave reviews from our thousands of users, we are ready to execute the next leg of our journey and are excited to have Austin Ventures as our financial partner.”
