US— Fieldwork agency Western Wats is expanding its call centre operations in three states and creating 170 jobs in the process.
The firm will add 100 jobs at its call centre in Casa Grande, Arizona, which will take the workforce up to 285. Thirty part-time positions will be added to a facility in Pittsburg, Kansas, and 40 part-time jobs will be made available at Brookings in South Dakota.
Western Wats said that the expansion of the call centres “was necessary to meet increasing demand for survey data collected by telephone interviewer”.
CEO Tim DeGraw said: “We have appreciated our partnership with these communities for several years and are pleased to announce the expansion. Our continued growth validates our commitment to quality telephone interviewing.”
Earlier this week the firm closed its call centre in Wayne, Nebraska, citing a new policy of consolidating smaller operations into larger premises.
