Wang made MD for Nielsen Hong Kong

HONG KONG – Global measurement and data analytics firm, Nielsen, has promoted Desmond Wang to be managing director in Hong Kong and Macau, as well as Taiwan.

Wang (pictured) has worked for Nielsen for about 20 years and was most recently vice-president for consumer packaged goods (CPG) vertical of Nielsen Taiwan.  He also worked as the CPG senior director of Nielsen China.  

Cindy Shin, president of Nielsen, developed Asia, said: “A veteran of Nielsen for around two decades in various markets, including Taiwan and mainland China, Desmond has helped clients drive success in their business over the years. This appointment reflects Nielsen’s commitment to our clients in Hong Kong and Macau.”
