Vision Critical revamps virtual shopping technology

US— Vision Critical has launched ShelfsetPlus, which the company says “overhauls” its existing virtual shopper technology.

The product was previously available as a custom application, but in its new incarnation it will be offered as a standardised visualisation tool for product, category and shopper marketing.

ShelfsetPlus offers interactive fly-throughs which enable shoppers to feel as though they are moving around a store. The product also allows for purchase exercises that let clients test various shopping offers.

Jason Smith, Vision Critical’s president of product innovation said: “Users can evaluate how brand, packaging, product descriptions, size, placement, and price impact buying decisions.”
