UK — Luca Antilli (pictured), a former BBC researcher and co-founder of Essential Research, has joined community research provider Verve as a partner.

Commenting on the appointment, Verve CEO Andrew Cooper said: “Our community panel approach is all about bringing the voice of the customer in to our clients businesses through tactical research, strategic research and customer immersion – both online and face-to-face.

“Luca’s expertise and leadership in the areas such as customer immersion really helps expand our offering to our clients and he is already busy leading some exciting programmes.”

Antilli was head of youth insight at the BBC before launching Essential Research with Alex Charlton and Stuart Knapman in 2005.

The trio sold Essential to SPA Future Thinking in 2011. All three have all since left the business.
