INDIA— Audience Measurement and Analytics (aMap) has promoted Joseph Eapen (pictured) to chief executive, replacing Amit Varma who has left the company.
Eapen most recently headed up aMap’s satellite TV ratings panel, aMapDigital. He joined the firm in September last year after a stint as planning director for Draftfcb in Saudi Arabia.
Before that he held research roles at Bates PanGulf Media and Mediaedge:cia. Earlier in his career Eapen spent eight years managing the first people meter service in the Gulf, AGB Gulf.
It is not known whether Varma, his predecessor at aMap, has another job to go to.
