UK— TNS has appointed former GfK NOP man Ivan Browne to fill the new role of head of its retail and shopper division.
Browne (pictured) was previously business development director in GfK’s consumer products and retail division, and has had spells with MarketTools, Retail Testing Limited and TNS Radar.
He also spent time on the clientside working with retailer Waitrose.
Phil Sutcliffe, head of the consumer division at TNS said: “It’s great to have Ivan leading this extremely important business for us… It is vital we continue to offer the high level of expertise and consultancy needed to ensure [our] tools deliver action-based results and drive growth for our clients. We think that Ivan’s experience and knowledge of the sector mean TNS UK is in an even more powerful position to do this.”
