CANADA— Cello’s former North American president Simon Dannatt has been appointed chief executive officer at The Sound Research, which has offices in Vancouver, London, New York, Chicago and Toronto.
Dannatt (pictured) spent the last two years with Cello where he saw the North American operation grow to account for 10% of the group’s revenue. Before his time with Cello, Dannatt was responsible for leading the development of The Value Engineers’ US operations.
A key part of his role at The Sound will be developing the firm’s strategic offer to meet the demands of overseas clients.
Former CEO Ian Pierpoint, who now serves as president, said: “Hiring Simon was a huge coup for The Sound, he will help us with our goals of aggressive growth and our expansion to Asia. His experience and expertise as a CEO will help to guide us smoothly through this next phase of growth and ensure our continued success.”
