Reporting to Tim Perzyk, vice-president, marketing insight & analytics, Taylor (pictured) will be responsible for custom, brand-specific research and insights to support Twitter’s advertising partners across the UK, US and Japan.

Taylor will be building his team from scratch – hiring both internally and externally – and will initially consist of nine people across the three countries.

This is part of Twitter’s strategy to focus on the people who use the platform and on the consumer insight. Taylor said the team will deliver deep, data-driven insights into its consumers to help brands connect with them.

"Twitter is a unique and powerful platform used by some of the most influential people in the world. I'm delighted to help continue building Twitter by putting our customers and our audience at the heart of everything we do," added Taylor.
