Severn Trent Water picks Maven for three-year visitor study

New business UK

UK— Maven Research has been commissioned by Severn Trent Water to run a three-year study of visitors to the utility firm’s recreational sites.

These include 12 of its reservoirs which offer activities including watersports, fishing and birdwatching, as well as the old pumping stations that make up its heritage sites.

According to Maven, Severn Trent’s reservoirs attract over three million visitors each year. The research will assess visitor satisfaction levels and provide feedback to the company on how it can improve the experience it offers and increase the numbers of visitors.

Maven was awarded the contract as a member of Severn Trent’s supplier roster, through which it has won a number of other projects in the past.

Managing director Kathryn Courtenay-Evans said: “We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with Severn Trent Water. This project will demonstrate Maven’s innovative approach to understanding satisfaction, using statistical analysis and action planning workshops to help drive through the necessary improvements.”
