US – Global intelligence business Savanta has acquired market research agency MSI International for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition will see MSI rebrand as Savanta MSI and will become part of the Savanta Americas team, albeit there will be no changes in the day-to-day running of MSI.
MSI will work in sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, investment, insurance, IT and security, and retirement at Savanta.
Paul Strasser, president at MSI International, will continue to run the company, but will report to Vin DeRobertis (pictured), chief executive officer Americas at Savanta.
MSI International is a market research and global strategic marketing business set up in 1988 and headquartered near Philadelphia, US.
The deal for MSI International follows Savanta’s acquisition earlier this year of youth research specialist YouthSight for an undisclosed sum.
DeRobertis said: “We welcome the MSI team to Savanta with open arms. We are excited to expand the footprint on the ground here to compliment the global business Savanta has built.
“We’re joining together with a team of specialist consultants whose focus and values fully align with ours.”
Strasser said: “By joining forces with Savanta, we can strengthen our key values of trust, excellence and teamwork.
“Not only is this exciting for our employees, but our clients too.”
