FRANCE— Outdoor sports clothing brand Salomon has asked 1000heads to monitor brand discussions and consumer engagement on social media channels.
Salomon’s digital marketing manager Anssi Mäkelä said the company was trying to understand what consumers think “as they think it” so it could respond quickly to what they want.
“Social insight allows us to do just that,” he said. “Put simply, traditional marketing insight is simply no longer enough. Our business is about performance and that’s what we want to embody for our customers.”
