Salesforce acquires Momentum

Through the acquisition, Salesforce will improve the ability of its Agentforce 360 platform and Slackbot (an AI-based assistant within Slack) to ingest and analyse unstructured data and apply those insights to agentic processes.
Momentum, founded in 2020, collects sales and customer interaction data.
Salesforce will integrate Momentum’s technology with Agentforce 360 and Slackbot to capture interactions from third-party voice and video applications, including Zoom and Google Meet.
The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2027, subject to closing conditions.
The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Steve Fisher, president and chief product officer at Salesforce, said: “Momentum accelerates our roadmap by unlocking the long tail of conversational data and bringing it directly into our platform. This ensures Agentforce 360 and Slackbot can incorporate the true voice of the customer to drive complex, multi-step workflows.”
Santiago Suarez Ordoñez, chief executive and co-founder of Momentum, said: “Joining Salesforce allows us to close the loop for GTM [go-to-market] teams, transforming the static audio of a meeting into structured intelligence.”
