Sainsbury’s teams with Nectar owner for marketing services JV
The joint venture company Insight 2 Communication (I2C) will work with brand owners to help them target special offers and advertisements through Sainsbury’s communication channels, including in-store and car park advertising, product sampling, coupons and direct mailings.
Aimia’s David Buckingham, UK general manager of intelligent shopper solutions (ISS), has been appointed chief executive of I2C, reporting in to a board comprising Sainsbury’s commercial director Mike Coupe, group development director Luke Jensen, Aimia’s EMEA president David Johnston and ISS managing director Peter Gleason.
