Sainsbury’s insight manager becomes Shoppercentric director
At Sainsbury’s Pearson worked within the customer insight and loyalty division, managing a team responsible for store development and business performance insight.
Prior to that she was senior shopper insight manager than acting head of insight at Cadbury, and Pearson has also held insight roles at Tesco.
On joining Shoppercentric, she said: “It’s an exciting time to be in retail as the shopper evolved significantly in 2011 – they are savvier than ever before and are shopping across a multitude of channels. This is a trend set to continue in 2012.
“Recognising shopper needs and wants has never been more important and I’m really looking forward to taking on the challenge.”
