The other Perspective Research Services board members, Ger-Jan van der Maten, Greg Berry and Steven Flood, will carry on at the business and Ivor Stocker remains chairman.

BDRC Group CEO, Cris Tarrant said:  "For several years Richard has lived on the south coast, combining working from home with spending three days a week in London. For personal lifestyle reasons Richard no longer wishes to continue this regime, so he is leaving the company.

"I am personally grateful for all that Richard has done to get the business to where it is today – he can be justifiably proud of his contribution. At the same time I respect his decision to spend more time with his family and wish him well for the future.”

Market research company Perspective Research Services is part of the BDRC Group, which also includes Alligator Research, Viewpoint and ESA Retail.
