Research Now SSI raises funds for families of mall fire victims

US – Research Now SSI has raised $115,000 in funds for the families of its 37 call centre employees who died in the mall fire in Davao, Philippines, last month.

The company is making preparations to release the funds to victims’ families.

Following the fire, Research Now SSI also continues to pay its Davao employees and provide grief counselling for them, according to a statement.

Chief executive Gary Laben said: “Our Davao employees have shown incredible resiliency and strength in the wake of the tragedy. We are committed to helping sustain them as members of our global company and as part of the Research Now SSI family.”
