Research Now SSI and Catalist join forces on voter data
The partnership links Catalist’s behavioural and modelled variables with Research Now SSI’s first-party data and survey capabilities. It will allow pollsters, political action committees, public opinion groups and non-profits to poll panel members via online and computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI).
Catalist’s database is built on election board data from across the US, supplemented by third-party commercial, census, and speciality data.
Jared Schiers, senior vice-president, product development at Research Now SSI, said: “Customers can drill down to explore congressional districts and other more local geographic boundaries to improve geo-political targeting. This data will help pollsters to gain meaningful insights around candidate perception, voter turnout, and key campaign issues, from voter history to hobbies and interests.”
