US— Omnicom’s digital data and analytics group Annalect has signed a contract to source TV set-top box viewing data from Rentrak’s TV Essentials service.
Data will be used by Annalect and Omnicom companies OMD and PHD to augment internal client analytics for the planning and buying of television.
Meanwhile, Rentrak has said that its chairman and former CEO Paul Rosenbaum is to retire and will stand down at the firm’s upcoming annual meeting of shareholders.
Vice-chairman Brent Rosenthal will replace him and CEO Bill Livek takes on the additional role of vice-chairman.
