FRANCE – Ipsos achieved a record high of €390.1 million in revenues in Q1 2017, up 0.8% compared with the same quarter the previous year.
This was the fifth consecutive quarter of organic growth. New Services, which has been a focus for Ipsos since the end of 2015 when it instigated its New Way project, performed particularly well with growth of 18% on a like-for-like basis.
Regionally, Europe – in particular the UK and Central and Eastern Europe – performed well, as did Asia-Pacific but North America contracted.
There was some difference in the performance of its businesses units. Ipsos Public Affairs, which manages services related to public opinion polls, increased 12% while Ipsos Connect, which covers media and comms, declined 6%.
In its outlook, Ipsos said it has decided to accelerate its transformation. The New Way programme was due to end at the end of 2017, and it would now be developing a new growth plan which it will unveil at its Investor Day on 6 June.
