PureSpectrum acquires Inteligx

US – Sampling platform PureSpectrum has acquired market research services provider Inteligx.

Inteligx, which is based in Philadelphia, focuses on data collection, sample sourcing and data delivery, and will help users of the PureSpectrum platform access a wider range of market research tools.

The terms of the acquisition have not been released.

Todd Myers, formerly of Kantar, Harris Interactive, Nielsen and Confirmit, will join PureSpectrum’s executive team as part of the deal, and will be president of the Inteligx unit.

PureSpectrum runs a research automation platform for insights, and is based in Los Angeles.

Michael McCrary, founder and chief executive of PureSpectrum, said: “Many of our clients have complex research needs that require full service data collection.

“By combining the Inteligx white-glove service offering we can now offer clients self-serve and full-service solutions.”

Myers said: “We feel strongly that for many customers the power of today’s research platforms can be best realised when combined with the support from research, operations and technology experts.

“Together we will optimally blend the people, platform, and best practices to help customers get the most of their research efforts.”
