US— The Chief Marketing Officer Council has partnered with mobile social media marketing agency Planet Oi’ to explore how companies can improve customer insight, loyalty and interaction.
The partnership between the two is part of a wider CMO Council initiative looking at how senior marketers can better understand and exploit the mobile space.
In this part of the project, the CMO Council will run targeted programs through Planet Oi’s platform, which includes a range of loyalty, CRM, mobile marketing and behaviour tracking services.
CMO Council executive director Donovan Neale-May said: “Our partnership with Planet Oi’ offers the CMO Council and leading brands a tremendous opportunity to demonstrate and benchmark the power of mobile relationship marketing in both developed and emerging markets.”
Rory Stear, the executive chairman of Planet Oi’ owner MobileWave Group added: “We look forward to teaming with progressive brands that understand the opportunities now offered by mobile social marketing.”
