US – Artificial intelligence revenue operations platform People.AI has acquired productivity app Hero Research.
People.AI uses artificial intelligence to obtain insights from business activity including emails, meetings and contacts.
Hero Research is a Salesforce user productivity app developed by Daniel Chen and Morgan Bender, former partners at Andreessen Horowitz.
The acquisition will allow sales representatives to create a personalised Salesforce interface rather than keeping a separate spreadsheet.
Oleg Rogynskyy, founder and chief executive at People.ai, said combining the two would mean “sales teams have the flexibility to manage their pipeline, territories, and activities in an optimal way”.
People.AI has also launched an embedded tool that will allow sales representatives and managers to access the People.ai platform from within Salesforce.
