People on the move

All the latest appointments and promotions in the global market research and consumer insight industry. This week: news from Turner Broadcasting, Incite, iGR, Survey Analytics, SocialTwist and ThinkVine.

Stacey Schulman has left her role at Turner Broadcasting, where she oversaw research in the animation, sports and digital content areas. The departure comes after a company restructure. As part of the shake-up, Gregg Liebman has been made senior vice president of ad sales and sports research and oversees research operations across all content areas for TV and digital, including Cartoon Network, CNN and the entertainment networks.

Beth Williams has been appointed principal at research consultancy Incite in the UK. She was previously research and insights director at Hill & Knowlton and has also worked as a research director. The firm has also hired Jenni Welling, formerly of RDSi, and Jon Watts, previously at Rosenblatt Research, as associates.

US-based strategic consultancy iGR has hired Amanda Louie as director of strategic development. She joins the company, which is focused on the wireless and mobile industry, from from RCR Wireless News where she was director of sales and marketing.

Dana Stanley has been appointed vice president of marketing at research software company Survey Analytics. He was previously president of The Operandi Group, a marketing and sales consultancy for the research industry.

Mark Dillon has joined US customer retention agency SocialTwist as chief revenue officer. He was previously head of worldwide channel sales at Omniture. The firm has also hired Vijay Sundaram, the co-founder of GT Nexus, as chief marketing officer.

Marketing software optimisation firm ThinkVine has appointed Mark Battaglia as CEO, replacing company founder Damon Ragusa who will continue to serve as chairman and chief strategy officer. Battaglia has held management roles at several software firms including SPSS, Initiate Systems, Enclarity and Multicast Media.
