Park joins Affectiva

US — Alan Park has joined emotion recognition software company Affectiva from Emotient as chief revenue officer.

Park (pictured) joins from emotion analytics company Emotient, where he led the company’s sales organisation. He has previously been senior vice president at Openwave, Trimble Navigation and other technology and services companies. 

In his new role, Park will lead Affectiva’s continued expansion, focused on delivering both consumer emotion insights and analytics. 

"Alan’s vast leadership experience delivering rapid growth in advanced software and application solutions will enable Affectiva to achieve global revenue expansion," said Nick Langeveld, president and CEO at Affectiva.

"His recent experience at Emotient and his vision for the impact emotion recognition software will have in the digital world give us a unique competitive advantage.  I could not be more excited that Alan is joining our team."
