Opinium adds to management board and equity partners
Ben Davis, Kate Jalie and Wez Eathorne have been promoted to the Opinium management board, joining chief executive James Endersby and four other senior leaders in overseeing the agency’s day-to-day operations and shaping its strategic direction.
Davis is head of restech and data, Jalie is head of thought leadership research and Eathorne is head of brand, comms and product research at Opinium.
In addition, Opinium has appointed three new equity partners: Ben Davis, Debbie Shuttlewood and James Nicandrou.
All three equity partners will hold a share in the agency, and the appointments bring the total number of equity partners at Opinium to 21.
Opinium has a long-standing goal for 50% of the business to be owned by its staff, with the business independently valued every two years to allow it to release new equity for existing partners and offer ownership opportunities to newer members of the team.
Endersby said: “These appointments mark another proud milestone in Opinium’s journey. Our success has always been built on empowering brilliant people to lead, innovate, deliver the best work of their careers, and share in the value we create together.”
Davis commented: “AI and automation are transforming how we collect, process, and interpret information, but quality, integrity, and human understanding must remain at the core. My focus is on ensuring Opinium continues to lead globally in research technology, innovation and data excellence.”
Eathorne said: “I’m thrilled to join the management board at a time when the insight industry is evolving faster than ever.
“For our clients, that means harnessing innovation and AI to deliver sharper, more actionable insights with impact, while staying true to what matters most: understanding people and driving meaningful business outcomes.”
Jalie added: “Being part of Opinium’s leadership team is an amazing opportunity to shape the future of how we use insight.
“Communications leaders are increasingly relying on data-driven storytelling, and I’m passionate about helping our clients uncover the stories and evidence that deliver genuine influence and measurable impact.”
