DENMARK — Software provider OfficeReports has released a tool that allows market research data analysis as a menu option inside PowerPoint and Word.
OfficeReports converts PowerPoint and Word into fully functional survey analysis and reporting programs capable of reading raw survey data and produce complex cross-tabular and statistical analysis.
Co-founder of OfficeReports and developer Fred Balkenende said the tool’s goal was to add the missing data processing engine into Office so that researchers have only one program to use when reporting on a survey.
He added: “We know that Microsoft Office is what researchers use more than anything else, but researchers spend a lot of time cutting and pasting from the program they used to analyse the data. Not only is this slow, it also frequently causes mistakes.”
