Nielsen leverages Alibaba for combined view of Chinese consumers

US — Nielsen has announced the launch of Omni Channel, an application that uses a combination of Alibaba and Nielsen data.

The combined data is intended to offer insight into Chinese consumers’ buying behaviour, both online and offline through Nielsen’s understanding of consumers and Alibaba’s content and e-commerce capabilities.
