Nielsen launches technology and data sharing platform
The Nielsen Connected System is a collection of embedded data, analytics and role-based apps that cross-share data between Nielsen and connected partner analytic companies.
It is intended to allow decision-makers across FMCG and retail companies to foster collaboration, by giving data companies in this space to connect consumer and retail data.
“The Nielsen Connected System is the next generation of inter-connectivity,” said Steve Hasker, global president and chief operating officer at Nielsen.
“This is a direct response to the changes and shifts happening in the FMCG and retail industry. Now more than ever, the industry needs new tools to help align businesses to the right resources to create forward momentum through data-fuelled decisions and analytics.”
