US – Consumer technology veteran, Guerrino De Luca, has joined Nielsen’s board of directors.
De Luca (pictured) has more than 30 years of global experience with expertise in strategy, marketing and management. He is also chairman of the board of directors at Logitech International.
De Luca joined Logitech in 1998 and was its president and CEO from February 1998 to December 2007. Prior to joining Logitech, he was executive vice-president of worldwide marketing for Apple, in addition to multiple positions within Apple across the US and Europe earlier in his career.
Mitch Barns, CEO, Nielsen, said: “Given Guerrino’s extensive operating and board experience, as well as his deep knowledge and background in technology and marketing, we very much look forward to what we know will be his substantial contributions to our Board and our company.”
