Nielsen acquires Pointlogic

US – Nielsen has bought Dutch marketing decision support systems company Pointlogic, for an undisclosed amount.

Nielsen and Pointlogic formed a strategic alliance in 2014 to co-develop Nielsen Media Impact, a tool using media measurement and advanced analytics so clients can predict the impact of their plans on sales and brand equity before making investments.

Nielsen Media Impact launched in the US and Italy in 2015 and will expand to more than eight countries across Europe, Asia and Latin America over the next year.

Pointlogic’s headquarters are in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and they also have local offices in Brazil, the US, the UK and Singapore.
