AUSTRALIA – WPP AUNZ-owned marketing communications group Kantar has appointed Jon Foged as its CEO.
Foged (pictured) has been chief strategy and business development officer for Kantar APAC and CEO of Kantar Cambodia and Myanmar. He will relocate from Singapore to Sydney to take on the new role.
Foged began his career with Kantar in Australia, initially leading the Motorola account in both regional and global roles, and went on to head the Kantar TNS Melbourne office. He later relocated to Asia to become the managing director of the Kantar TNS Singapore business for three years.
He replaces Tania Kullmann, who has decided to take a sabbatical to focus on her family.
WPP AUNZ CEO, Mike Connaghan, said: “For the past five months Jon has been care-taking the leadership of Kantar Australia with great success. He is a seasoned CEO with a proven track record, and is both very people-oriented and client-driven.”
