SRI LANKA— Bahrain-based management consulting firm MTI Consulting has launched a standalone research business in Sri Lanka, MTI Market Research.
The new venture will be led by Saanchika Weerasinghe, who told local news website the Daily Mirror that the “expected upturn in the Sri Lankan economy is creating a wider market for market research in the country”.
Services offered by the new firm include market entry studies, feasibility research, trends measurement, product development and loyalty measurement.
Group CEO Hilmy Cader said the firm will bring an “open-minded, strategic approach” to research, rather than being restricted by the conventional divide between qual and quant.
