US— Two local TV stations in Columbus-Tupelo-West Point, Mississippi, have signed up to receive ratings numbers from Rentrak’s StationView Essentials service.
The addition of NBC affiliate WTVA and Fox’s WLOV brings the number of StationView Essentials customers to 182 across 41 local television markets, the measurement company said.
In a joint statement WTVA and WLOV said: “Rentrak’s massive database of viewing information matched against purchase databases, including Polk Automotive, will provide an immediate opportunity for WTVA and WLOV to monetise our investment.”
